AirClad [SP] Developed the 'XES' structure for George P Johnson and IBM. They had been making annual events as immersive pop-up spaces in unique spaces around Germany.

They wanted to take something new and very special direct to their clients. AirClad [SP] worked on a modular multi-level design to create a range of spaces IBM could use for housing their quantum computer alongside meetings, presentations, and socialising.
The overall design combined a terraced AirClad with a double height space on the standard 2.5m grid, yet increasing the width to 12m. The final product needed to feel very much like a true piece of pop up architecture with the added challenge of an actual build to be undertaken in a matter of days.
While development and testing was hampered with Covid throughout 2020, the stunning structure went live in late 2021.
